Safe Steps
Safe Steps is a specialised psychotherapeutic service for children, adolescents, and the adults who care for them. It has been established by two experienced child and adolescent psychotherapists.
At Safe Steps, we believe that behind a child’s behaviour is an attempt to communicate something that words can’t yet fully express.
Our therapeutic practice is founded upon fostering an environment of safety, curiosity, and authentic connection. By prioritising these elements, we create the conditions necessary for healing to take place naturally, allowing each child’s story to be heard and their unique journey to be supported. Our work is grounded in deep respect for the child’s inner world, and in the belief that relationships are the foundation of healing.
At Safe Steps, we offer therapeutic support to children and adolescents aged 3 to 18, and to the adults around them: parents, foster carers, educators, and professionals.
